Arrived In Paris

The entire trip from Austin to Paris was 12 hours and 55 minutes. From Austin to New York, I talked to a young Senegalese Couple, who studied in Paris, and lives and works in Madrid, Spain. They are both bankers. They were very interesting to talk to, and I did talk to them the entire time. It turned out they are Muslim. They were still very interested in my trip and my work.

They both told me that it was hard to be black, muslim, and living in Madrid. It was hard for them to make friends. They were very curious as to why I was so engaging to  them.

It was none stop question and answer about Christianity, why I have four children, the Presidential election, what I hope to accomplish on the trip; however, they are interesting in having children and they wanted to talk most of the time about raising a family in the world today.

It is 8:46AM in Paris, which means it is 1:46AM in Austin.
The flight from New York to Paris was not full at all. I was able to sleep for about 6 hours.  Yeah! I imagine I looked a little scary, but I am rested.

Robert said he was able to sleep from L.A. to New York and New York to Paris. So, he is very rested.

We have 5 hours here in the airport and then on to Belgrade. We leave at 1:00 and arrive at 3:30PM. I will pull out my camera once we arrive. I'll take a few shots and try to post them.

We will get settled in Hotel Trim in Belgrade.
Hopefully, it will have internet connection.

Prepared to Leave

Well,
I am ready to go. I have received an unexpected large group of followers and people who have committed to pray for this trip to be successful. I want to thank everyone who has responded either by email, comments, and phone calls to support me on this trip--even before I leave. THANKS!!!

I depart Austin at about 11:50AM and arrive in New York about 4:49PM (or 3:49 Austin time). I will meet up with Robert Vidaurri in New York. We depart for Paris about 6:15PM and there at about 7:45AM. It is a 12 hour and 55 minute flight. We leave Paris that afternoon at 1:00PM, October 15th and arrive in Belgrade at 3:30PM.
I will post some pictures as soon as I get a chance.
Thanks for all the support.

P.S. The Serbia map is labeled.
The Romania map has Bucharest as its capital.
The Hungary map has Budapest as it capital.
